Testing the new Figma

Figma's Newest Launch
I have been debating for some time to buy the Adobe Suite, mainly Illustrator, and I am so happy I didn't. Figma's new effects, including my favorite noise and texture, has made Figma a serious competitor against Adobe. It draws in users like myself, who are not Adobe professionals and depend on the simplicity of Figma's interface to ideate and create. With the introduction of the grid, repeat, shape builder, text on a path, fill effects, and more I'm keen to explore how my designing process will change for the better!
Similarly, Figma Buzz provides fair competition against Canva. I personally wasn't the biggest fan of Canva because it seemed quite limiting, and the download quality was quite poor for the free version. With a slight learning curve, Figma Buzz provides a parallel, yet much more positive, experience. While you cannot draw right on Figma Buzz for free versions, you are able to use a design file and import it over to get your desired result.
Let's Test it Out!
Challenge # 1
new features used: linear repeat, draw, layer blur, texture, noise, and shape builder (boolean)

Challenge # 2
new features used: draw, text on path, noise, and background blur

Thoughts?
I need an eraser tool to accompany the brushes!
